  I strongly encourage anyone skeptical of authentic Christianity or struggling to find a healthy biblical church in San Diego to give the congregation of Barabbas Road a visit.
  
  Scriptural integrity. The pulpit here is consistent in exposing truth and equipping the whole believer for life in godliness. True worship united at the foot of the cross of the risen Christ means Christians caring for the real physical and spiritual needs of one another. Spiritual maturation with sustained zeal and joy in Christ are common traits of the membership here. They are committed to great commission living.

  If you want teaching from the bible that isn't dumbed down or watered down, this is the place you want to be. Barabbas Road Church is about the Great Commission, making disciple making disciples, teaching from God's word, fellowshipping with one another, and worshipping the Lord.

  If you are hungry for dynamic, accurate scriptural- based teaching...and I'm talking "meat" vs. settling for the seeker-friendly, diluted pablum (milk formula) often offered up in many churches---then this is the place for you! Pastor Matts weekly messages are truly transformational, always educational and consistently revelatory. His teaching is always grounded in the power and sanctity of The Word, and I'd say he is an exceptionally gifted Teacher of the Bible with the ability to extrapolate from it and boldly reveal it's truth and relevance for us as Christ followers today. This is essential to our equipping as disciples and to walk in, live in, our full identity in Christ.

  I found the pastors to be very passionate about God's word, discipleship, and caring for those in the church. Would love to go back to this church if we move back to San Diego in the future.
