  First UU Church is an incredibly special place in San Diego. It is a delight from the friendly people to the beautiful campus to the great music. Where else can you find a Solstice celebration side by side with a discussion on the roots of Christianity? Rev. Kathleen Owen is smart, funny and provides strong leadership for the many programs, groups and organizations that work to make the UU motto "Let service be our prayer" a reality. I'd encourage anyone who is looking for a community that values rational thought and liberal religion to come visit First UU Church. And don't miss the Easter Flower Communion, it's a winner!

  First time in an Unitarian Universalist church. Great sense of community, a very friendly, non-judgmental and spiritual stimulating place to be. Amazing choir too.. I recommend checking out!
