  • Incredibly beautiful, peaceful and moving place. A truly honorable setting for our Vets. Take some time with the headstones, and meet the airmen, solders and sailors who were true heroes in our National defense. What is remarkable is that many are spaced together in a timeless manner -- veterans of WW 1 next to Vietnam veterans, for instance.

  • Beautiful place for our loved ones to be laid to rest. I look forward to visiting our father every year on his birthday. I only wish I had taken a camera when taking these pictures as they do not do it justice. I will be sure to bring my camera next time as RNC deserves better than what my old LG Optima could do.

If you find yourself down near RNC or the Point Loma Tide-pools / Cabrillo Monument, then please pay your respects to those who have served and honored our country. We are eternally indebted to their service and sacrifice.

  • This is a very peaceful spot. A true place of respect with a majestic view. Exceptionally well-kept grounds and beautiful views.
One side of the hill faces the bay and San Diego and the other side faces the Pacific. Spend some time on your way to the Cabrillo Monument to walk around here and soak in the beauty, peacefulness, and honor of those resting here.Even if you don't know anyone buried here, it is an important place to visit and pay respects to those who have fought and died for us.
Thank you to all those who gave their life for our freedom.
    God bless America!!

  • Major William George Thomas, my father and my mother, Barbara Anne Thomas are buried there. It is the most beautiful place with the Pacific ocean on one side and overlooking San Diego Bay. It's an amazing place to visit and I'm so proud to have such a memorial site to visit my parents. With love, Robin Thomas

  • My maternal grandparents are buried here. My grandfather, fondly called Granddaddy, was a Lt. Commander in the U.S. Navy.
This cemetery is closed to new interments, but is a final resting place for those who served our country.
Breathtaking, well maintained and great respect is evident for our men and women in uniform.
