  I was raised here... and that sentence shouldn't be taken lightly. I moved away in my early 30's. I went to preschool here, and grew up as a member of this church. I attended camps, classes and had my first communion here. I grew up here, attending multiple outreach programs and multiple events. I was in choir here. I was a worship leader here, in middle school, then high school, then I was hired a music director. This church, these people, were family. Although I could write a book about this place, for yelp's sake, I need to simplify. The beatitudes come to mind. The humbleness I learned here changed my life. It taught me that we're all people trying to figure things out, but here.... we can discover things together. Learn, grow, laugh, and cry. I've been blessed by this place. I truly hope many other will be too.

  Penasquitos Lutheran Church is so welcoming in all of the many amazing events taking place there. This church makes you feel so loved by, not only the staff and attendants, but by God and Jesus. All the events (such as; the four church services,the youth group,refuge, confirmation classes, C-MENT productions etc.) are such fun ways to learn and grow in Christian faith.

  Been attending for 10 years and growing and they are the best familia anyone could ask for. I look forward to seeing there faces on a Sunday.
