  While this church seems big on the outside, as soon as service begins you feel like you're with a small group of family. I would absolutely suggest giving the services here a visit. You won't regret it.

  the main attraction was obviously the million dollar light system they had. Also didn't hear them say 'Jesus' until the service was almost done which through my experience is sometimes a ref flag. All that being said I will go in the weeks to come to make a valid opinion instead of just an observation of a first time visit.

  On Fire for God, this is the place to learn about God. Half hour of worship songs before each service. Fun to sing to God. Some are concerned what others think but praise God anyway. Pastor Miles wants to save as many people as possible. The crowd is new every week, few faithful in audience.

  RUN! Your feelings don't dictate what is true. San Diego's Mega Church that has no discernment in Biblical truth, produces worldly Christians and continues to look more and more like the world in order to win the world.
  
  Miles McPherson had Randy Clark from Global Awakening speak last year and there was no renouncement/repentance of it.
  
  Miles McPherson hangs out with Rick Warren, Dr. Oz, and New Ager Dr. Amen. (Red flags!)
  
  The Rock's Facebook recently posted some Meditation music that is EXACTLY like New Age meditation music.
  
  Also, the sermons are very weak because they are topical and not systematic or expository. Most people who go here do not really know the Bible. All they know is 'God is love'.
  
  One more thing, this is not a Biblical church. This is a building that gets at least 10,000 people to go to it every week and some people on stage entertain them.
  
  I just remembered something else! Kevin Faulconer was allowed to campaign in the foyer. Faulconer is against Biblical marriage. Didn't you see him smiling with the Hillcrest city council? Rainbow flags and all.
  
  Lastly, you do not have to be a part of the Rock in order to "do something". There are plenty of things you can "do" on your own. You could go buy a pack of Gospel Tracts and witness to people or how about intercede for the pre-born babies being murdered at Planned Parenthood.
  
  Disclaimer: The people here are nice and I'm not questioning the motives of those involved in the ministries. But overall, despite the good they do, this is not a church you want to be associated with.
