These people are a front for a New Age cult out of Los Angeles. They teach that there is no God, no Satan, and that there is no right or wrong. Considering that the so-called reverend is a Polish Jew refugee whose parents barely escaped the Hitler death camps, it is beyond anyone's comprehension that he teaches that we each create our own reality. I don't think that the six million Jews who died in the concentration camps (or the six million others who died with them) created that reality for themselves. Also, because he teaches that we each create our own reality, there is NO help for anyone in material need because that person MUST want that for themselves. This so-called church does not pay their help one penny - ever. In fact, they pester them to get jobs (or better jobs) so that they can give these moochers more money. I urge everyone to avoid these charlatans.

  • I have never attended this church, but I had to write a review after reading Margarets. I rarely ad reviews, but when I read Margarets review, it seems she's the uniformed person who doesn't understand the principles of Science of Mind. Before you write negative reviews Margaret when its obvious you don't know want you are talking about, I suggest you choose silence over making yourself look ignorant.
Science of Mind is a beautiful religion, and it is NOT a cult. There are specific guidelines to be considered a cult, and Science of Mind does not fit those guidelines. You can google Cult Guidelines and see for yourself. All I can say about Margaret is not all religions call to everyone. So why not be silent when you done;t know what you are talking about, rather than hiding behind an anonymous review and spouting negativity about things of which you are uninformed. In Science of Mind you learn "a person's reactions and words are a reflection of a persons consciousness (how the person see's the world)." What more can I say?

  • Margaret dear,
In a Cult, followers do as they are told and do not ask questions where as Rev. Connie gives us free will in her presence and encourages questions that she answers to the best of her well educated ability and her answers resonate with our heart's knowledge in her classes. Rev. John encourages free thought as well. The Spiritual guidance you regard as a negative Cult simply awakens our intuition and what we have forgotten. Best to you, always!
